How our pricing works
- £108 minimum charge (inc VAT) on all work — this covers the first hour of labour on site, however small the job.
- Labour-only prices. Materials (sockets, cable, consumer units, chargers) are listed separately on your quote at cost. You approve both before we start.
- Fixed prices for certificates. EICRs and test reports are fixed-price — the price we quote includes the inspection and the certificate.
- Written quote before work starts on anything beyond the first hour. No work proceeds without your OK.

PAT testing prices
Portable appliance testing is £5 per appliance inc VAT, with the £108 minimum charge applying to every visit. In practice that means up to 21 appliances are covered by the minimum charge — ideal for landlords, HMOs, small offices and shops. You get a full itemised register and pass/fail labels on the day.
Emergency electrician call-out
We answer 24/7 across north, east and central London. Emergency work is charged on exactly the same basis as day work: £108 minimum inc VAT covering the first hour, labour-only, materials itemised at cost. What affects the price?
- Access and property type — period conversions and flats above shops take longer than modern flats.
- Condition of the existing installation — older wiring can add investigation time; we tell you before continuing.
- Materials you choose — a standard white socket and a brushed-steel one carry different material costs; the labour is the same.
- Parking and congestion zones — charged at cost where unavoidable, always flagged up front.
